Speeding/local rat-run

Reported by Mr G. Elliott at 21:22, Wed 15 July 2009
Sent to Norfolk County Council and Broadland District Council 2 minutes later

Work has recently been completed installing rumble strips on Gage/Parana Road. This has had no effect whatsoever on the speed of the majority of vehicles. Sprowston Parish Council are ineffectual and direct all complaints to other authorities. Speed bumps would be of more value in making the road safer and should have been considered in the planning and the costing of the rumble strips.

Council funds apparently do not allow any further improvement. Even the police cannot enforce the 20mph speed limit! The whole effort was a waste of time and money.
