Road side shrine

Dear Sir,
I drive past a road side shrine at the Uxbridge road end of Longlane. whilst I have every sympathy for the family of the individual this is becomming a distraction and eyesore.
There are regular public gatherings and trinkets littering the area. The other day I noticed a number of highly glittering ballons, notifying the general public of this dead motorist's passing birthday.
It must be noted that this individual was a convicted drink driver and understood to have been over the legal limit for alcohol and failing to stop for Police at the time of the unfortunate accident.
I would request that this shrine is taken down or at least notice given that this 'thing' will be brought to a sensible conclusion. Possibly permission to place a small plaque (2 inch x 2 inch) on the tree trunk.
I would also think a Council sign could be erected at or near the site warning of the dangers of driving whilst intoxicated through drink or drugs.
7 months really is enough for the long suffering residents of long lane and Hillingdon.
If you wonder why I am so incensed by this particular shrine, I have sadly lost family through the thoughless and selfish actions of a drunkdriver.
