Sewerage leak

Reported by A. Trafford at 13:11, Mon 6 July 2009
Sent to Bromsgrove District Council and Worcestershire County Council 4 minutes later

The Sewer has overflowed at the junction of Worcester road and Millpool close after heavy rain. The resulting mess including old sanitary towels has been over the area for about a week. This has been recurring for a number of years although this is the first time that I have reported it. I would be grateful if this problem could be looked into.

This problem is still outstanding. No attempt has been made to clean up the mess, much less fix the problem and on Sunday 19th July the drain again overflowed.

The mess was cleared up within 48 hours of the second report. However it is not possible to say whether or not the underlying problem has been addressed. This will not be known until the next bad storm.
