Pavement Works

On very early on sunday morning a contractor began working on the pavement. It was very loud and woke me up at 6.00am. Why did the Council choose to do this at such an antisocial hour. There was no consideration for residents. Can you please plan such works around better hours for residents.

It was not possible to 'fix' the proble. The COuncil has assured me that the private contractor won't be allowed to work again at such an antisocial hour, but no safeguards have been put in place.
