Footpath overgrown with crops

Footpath at this location has become overgrown with a rapeseed crop to the extent that the path can no longer be followed. The crop is over 4foot high in places and if wet with dew or rain soaks you through. I attempted to cross it this morning and ended up losing my way, following a tractor track to the edge of the field and my dog go lost! The crop needs to be cut back on either side of the path to reveal it again and make it more convenient for walkers to use.
