Giant hogweed

Since my last report the Hogweed was eventually cut down and removed. However because no one thought to have the remaining stumps sprayed with sytemic weed killer the weed has now flourished once more and is on it's way to a record crop due to the good weather.
it is now not confined to this one patch but can be found in several areas all over Kirktonholme woods. their needs to be a more sustained and determined plan to eradicate this befor it gets out of control.
