Because there is no permit parking on Furrowfelde, people from nearby streets are parking their commercial vehicles outside our properties and turning a very high community tax area into a commercial carpark

The problem has not been fixed and the council has demonstrated complete indifference.Five other households in this vicinity have voiced their concerns but I dont know if all of them have complained.
In addition to the commercial vehicle parking the situation for Furrowfelde is being exacerbated by residents of adjacent, parking restricted streets, parking for extended periods in Furrowfelde including parking over driveways preventing access or exit. Further, the recent introduction of double yellow lines in Lee Wooten Lane has caused a safety hazard when exiting Furrowfelde into Sparrows Herne due to inconsiderate parking by visitors or workers of Basildon Hospital caused by excess car parking fees. Finally, the parking by commuters, and visitors to the town centre unable or unwilling to pay parking charges causes additional difficulties for Furrowfelde residents. These issues have been raised with the local councillor and Highways Authority to no avail. Obviously time for change.
