Resurfacing

The council recently resurfaced Tile House Green Lane and the Solihull Bypass. I thought they were half way through, and then I was driving along them today to find the white lines painted on the road.
Not only is the road surface very rough, with potholes already present, but the council are trying to save money by not resurfacing the surface if it involves more 'advanced' white lineage (such as BUS STOP or SLOW).
The new surface isn't an improvement.
