Hi i awoke this morning to yet another beautiful day in hove as i stare out my window i see a glimmer of the sea and .....the biggest dump site in hove, the old sackville hotel site! My family and I have had to shout at people to stop dumping matresses, fridges, rubble, tables. and only last week again i picked up 3 condoms (used!) hypedermic needles (used!) and god knows how many cans and bottles of alcohol and beer. we live on such a beautiful road and have to stare at the ugly residue that the owners of sackville hotel ltd have left us with. I have had numerous flat tyres from driving onto MY driveway ruined by the catastrophe and alleged collapse of the hotel!we now have been left with moving metal plates covering OPEN sewage and man hole covers which have moved in the last 2 years exposing holes....i have spotted rats droppings near these open covers.Kids think its a great place to play little do they know the danger of what lies beneath all the rubble...an accident or catching a disease from some filthy drug needle will happen in the future..i fear. WHY as tax payers and local residence do we still have to put up with this???? Can we not have a nice looking SAFE wooden hording to stop lazy non environmental people dumping stuff until they can finally decide what monstrosity will replace our hotel site...a conservation area and site!!!???? my bottom! FED UP please do something about it and make it look better and safe. HOw long do we have to wait whilst the owners of the land sip cocktails in the Van Allen building with beautiful vistas?
