Updates
Thank you for your e-mail.
I have made a request for the StreetCare Warden for the area to make an inspection of the site. He will then take any further action required. Your reference number is 500309.
After a series of complaints by local residents the local authority has removed the fly tipping and re-sited the waste bins to a temporary site elsewhere, pending a long term solution acceptable to local residents, their Association and the Garden Square Trust.
This problem is still occurring, bins have been reduced to 1/2 (to cater for whole square) and they currently overflow with waste. Because they are full the rubbish is now being strewn onto the roads/gardens. Pick up is not regular adding to the problem. It's a conservation area and Lambeth is failing its duties to maintain the square’s upkeep.
