Road surface in a bad state

The road surface on Summerscale St is riddled with long gouges which are full of grit and dust and broken glass. When cars come down the road they often send grit and dust flying behind them and when a road-sweeping machine comes along the whole street is engulfed in a cloud of dust. Nearby streets have recently had new tarmac laid and I was hoping the same would happen on Summerscale St as its current condition is dangerous.
