There is almost nightly vandalism at the Countess of Huntingdon's Cemetery, Addington Square, Margate. Very old gravestones are being smashed to make seats for teens to sit and talk on every night. The graveyard is full of discarded litter, broken glass and thrown plastic chairs. The level of damage is startling. This is a very special graveyard and this wanton damage is shocking. The council have not cleared the rubbish so I believe they do not have the cemetery on their route. It's outrageous to have such a special place destroyed like this. I have reported the incident to the police. The owners, TDC, need to report the incident as they are the owners of the site.
