Mini Roundabout Required

Why can’t there be a mini roundabout built at this junction? Bexley Road is a very busy road (classified as a strategic route through the borough) and trying to exit Baldwyns Park into Bexley Road at this junction is horrendous with traffic often backing up along Baldwyns Park. Large roundabouts have been built further up Bexley Road at the entrance to the relatively new Bexley Park Estate where there is less of a problem and a very expensive decorative roundabout has been built half way along Baldwyns Park which serves absolutely no purpose, but we do not get a mini roundabout where it is really needed.
