Cutting back of trees and bushes

Within the school grounds there are some bushes and trees that needs cutting back. These have not been touched in the 2 1/2 years i have lived at my house and it blocks sunlight from the garden, blocks the TV signal and allows wasps and bees to set up nests. This needs sorting out.

The council did not get back to me. I then contacted them again and have been told that it is all the schools responsibility not theres.
