Too light

New lighting. Far too bright and light. Own house and garden lit up as though my own security light had been activated. Why not turn them off/low through small hours? Village setting, with little night traffic.

The council pass responsibility for the issue to the lighting contractors, who, in turn, contend that they are working in accordance to the council's requirements. The 'Customer Relations' dept of the council appear to be unable to comprehend written English.
