High Pitched Noise 24/7 for the last 2 years

Sent to Bexley Borough Council 5 minutes later

My wife, myself and anyone who visits our house can hear a high pitch noise.

This happens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - but it seems worse at night...

Sometimes there are fluctuations in the noise, but it never goes away.

My wife and I have both had our hearing checked for tinnitus and other hearing problems by a private specialist and we have both been told that we do not have any hearing issues.

Right now, at work, I cannot hear the high pitch sound.

The sound can be heard both inside and outside of our house...

We cannot sleep and are at the point where we are willing to sell our home to move away from this noise as we cannot sleep...

Bexley Council sent out someone to investigate and he could hear our noise and agreed that it seems to be coming from the nearby train track (it is louder near the station).

We are now waiting for the results of a site visit by the SouthEastern who operate the railtrack, and hopefully they will rectify the noise soon!

The problem has not been rectified yet!

Since our last contact from Bexley Council who promised to talk to the Train Operator, we have had no updates and the noise continues...
