Graffiti On Long Furlong Community Centre

Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council 3 minutes later
At the rear of the Long Furlong Community Centre, the building has been the subject of intense graffit activity; once again. This is a blight on our neighbourhood. Can it please be removed. I have reported this specific graffiti activity at least twice in recent years, via my local councillor and in person at the help desk at VofWHDC Abingdon Offices.

This is the response from The Vale of White Horse DC representative; Mr Len Rodway: Quote "Graffiti removal is a decorative issue and the responsibility of the Com Centre. The Community Centre is liaising with BBC Radio Oxford and local schools. Young people will be involved in a scheme of removing the existing graffiti and painting of new murals." Unquote. Does anyone else have any information in respect of this matter?
This graffiti has been in situ, in one form or another, for the past ten years. Despite writing to and asking Mrs Morgan our Local Liberal Democrat Councillor, the promise of another Lib Dem councellor that he would do something about it, reporting it in person directly to The Vale of White Horse Help Desk in Abbey House, and the individual responsible for damages/repairs to this building at the VofWH DC nothing has been done. I have no faith whatsoever in our local councillors or the VofWHDC staff considering how long this has been going on.
