Grass Verge Maitenance

The grass verge along the perimeter of 11 Foster Close was according the Barratts homes subject to the Councils contract as are the large verges as you enter Moxom Avenue. In the 11 years I have lived here, the verge has been cut once. All the other times, I have cut it as it becomes such a disgrace. As my council tax has increased dramitacally in those 11 years and the contractor has not fulfilled its commitments, I believe it is about time the council approached the contractor and tell them that this verge, which is the pavement width, needs to be cut regularly.

I have been informed that the verge has now ben included in the contractor's programme. However I noticed today the large grass areas entering Moxom Avenue had been cut, but the verge which I complained about hasn't. I will watch and report

I saw the sit-on mower cutting the verge, its a shame that the follow-up workers with the strimmers failed to finish it off, as they did on the main grass areas in Moxom Avenue
