Broken glass on motorway slip road

There is a pile of broken glass at the top of the southbound slip road leaving the M1 at junction 23. No photo due to the position of it, but there was a considerable amount there this morning across the nearside lane.

This is possibly not a "street cleaning" issue that would be handled by Charnwood Borough Council. This sounds like a highways issue that would be handled by Leicestershire County Council (or even the Highways Agency) because it relates to a major road/the entrance to a motorway.

I have reported this problem to Leicestershire County Council's "Roadline" on 0800 62 62 03.
