Trees block all day light from my garden

The trees that growth in the street at the end of our gardens have got to a hight that blocks out all daylight from our backgardans. Redusing the hight and overhang of the trees will allow us to enjoy the gardens this summer and cut down on the amount of leave the full in our small gardens in the autumn.
