Clearning of vegation

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 10:23, Fri 24 April 2009
Sent to Leeds City Council 1 minute later

There is a sycamore tree that needs pruning back on the corner of the Sycamores and Kelcliffe Lane. It getting so high it overshadows gardens (including vegetable plots) and telephone cable have to go through the canopy.

The vegation (especially brambles and stinging nettles) and accumulated heap of compost down the side of Kelcliffe lane needs cutting back and clearing away - trees have taken root in it. In the summer it is beginning to block the lane.

We have still not reached agreement on the tree, as the council say they have limited budget. I have now written to them to point out the necessity of dealing with the tree before it damages the wall it is growing agains.
