University students parking on road

There is an increasing problem with Leeds Metropolitan Students and Staff parking on Thornbury Avenue and Montgomery Avenue. This has happened since there has been a new pathway put in linking the new estate to Church Wood Avenue. The cars in particular parked on Thornbury Avenue are a safety hazard as they are often parked right up next to the mini roundabout. There has already been one car accident as a result of this. Alongside this, it is dangerous for children playing on the recreational land on Huntignton Crescent to cross between the parked cars. This estate has very narrow roads as it is and was never designed for cars to be parked in the volume that they are being.
