Updates
reported about 5 years ago but told to consult the parish commitee , could not get a straight answer from them or anyone at the council offices, there have been many accidents since this and a lot of vehicles overshoot the turning before actually turning into the b2126 at night, I also feel that the local clergy(in the parish council) objects to a lamp post as it is near to the vicarage entrance, but that is my own personal opinion, but roadsafety should be a priority, do'nt you think???
nothing done as yet no letter from Mole Valley Council acknowledging the inquiry made by me, looks like they do not give a damn about road safety in Ockley Village, typical!!!
I have attached a picture of the junction taken at around 23.35 without using a flash on my camera, you can just make out the road sign but the T junction is not visible directly ahead is a large stone wall. picture was taken from the B2126 looking directly at the A29 which runs from left to right in the picture, you can see just how bad the junction is in the dark and how a street light would help with road safety in the village.
