Tree's blocking sunlight

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 12:31, Tue 21 April 2009
Sent to Aberdeenshire Council 3 minutes later

The Tree's at the back of my house which are in the school playing ground block sunlight into my garden. My neighbours and myself reported this a year ago and I would assume this problem will be worse with more tree growth. The tree's block a great deal of natural light to the rear rooms of my property. There are six tree's in total at the rear of my house 33 mameulah road

I had an email from "Bob" at the council(no last name) telling me that in his opinion there was not a problem. I stressed that come the summer time the trees have much more leaves and block sunlight. I was told that they would lightly prune them.

still no progress on this issue. trees are now so high that washing in our back garden will not dry due to blocked sunlight. one of the neighbours spotted the council trimming tree's at the opposite end of the park....typical!
