On 16/4/09 my wife and daughter were nearly hit by a car parking on the pavement on miller road. there are several cars blocking this pavement regularly and as one of the highest council tax payers in the county we are sick of having to walk around lazy motorists cars. today i have reported this to the police. we prteviously reported the problem to the local council who made excuses for the motorists and ultimately did nothing.

the local neibourhood policing team actually told us there was no problem at all. strangely after i offered to take photo's of the problem to send to the press, along with the police email stating there was no problem, they decided to flyer the area telling people not to park on the pavements. this notice has been largely ignored as you can see by walking down the street in question at any time of day.
