as a home owner on Hanover estate for 38 years ,the road surface of the estate and pathing around the estate are nothing short of a disgrace - the amount of pathetic patch work tarmac now applied to a surface that is being pounded daily by bigger and bigger buses , trucks , tractors etc etc the road surface was never developed for these vehicles and its showing why now !!! the Council appear to slap patches of tarmac like children painting pictures - its a disgrace why pay council tax and road tax and income tax for services that just dont serve the purpose of the public whom pay them i would love to see what an Independant Road Surface Inspection would make of the Councils reinstatment gangs and the procedures they use we also have traffic calming measures that are constantly blocked by cars - YELLOW LINES REQD !!! Bus Drivers whom dont know there vehicle lengths and think the estate is a race track !!! you never see a mobile speed camera around Winlaton unlike Rowlands Gill , Whickham , Ryton etc im sure this camera would work very well along Barlow Lane which the Estate overlooks , West Lane where the schools are and the Winlaton area in general im sure would approve of a regular Zebra Crossing outside of the Spar Shop with proper crossing and lights etc etc Yours Faithfully Mr B Penny
