Dog Fouling

I have recently bought a property bordering the public footpath leading down to the river in Etterby. There seems to be a major problem with the people who walk dogs past my front door, along the footpath there is regularly dog excrement, bags of dog excrement left lying and some cases of bags of filth been thrown into the hedgerow of my garden. I hope something can be done about this at the earliest opportunity.
