Speeding cars

Since I have lived here (4yrs) there has been problems with cars racing up and down the street, This normally happens in the evening with boy racers. We need traffic calming measures in Green Street such as humps. The situation gets worse in the summer. I have complained in the past but told that I need to get number plates etc. That must be the work of the authorities. I have a young daughter and another on the way, there are also other children in the area, someone will get hurt in this street. The noise of the cars accelorating and breaking at high speed is also an issue.

A Mr Robinson from the council was attending a meeting on the 28th April but I have yet to hear back from him. I have sent him an e-mail tonight to ask for an update.
