Very poor road surface

The road surface on the busy New Bridge Street is in poor shape. As a cyclist, it is particularly tricky, as the dips, holes, and battered surface is experienced usually in heavy traffic, either coming off the Blackfrairs bridge in traffic, or coming the other way, going south approaching Blackfriars bridge. The density of the traffic makes it hard to keep an eye on constantly threading the way through the poor surface and the fear of being thrown off into the traffic. Not a happy street surface! Any help you can offer in re-surfacing this stretch of the road would make a big improvement to anotherwise pretty good road surface in this area.

Many thanks for your help.
