the council now claim they can do nothing because it is a private wall yet they have powers under environmental and crime prevention law to make the owner fix the wall..... flintshire is the LEAST HELPFUL COUNCIL IN WALES!

The council still take no action, they prefer to let the area fester and rot!

moe and more properties are becoming empty, families are moving out because they cannot cope with this council's lack of interest. this area will become a no go area within a year!

The council are quite right, if it's a private wall they can't make the owner repair it unless it's posing a hazard to highway users, which it only is when the youths are there. This is a Police matter.

The police have been told and continue to issue crime numbers when cars or houses are damaged, to date no-one has been charged with any offences. The neighbourhood wardens in Flintshire are NEVER in our area due to other priorities and the local Councillor takes notes but wants to renovate a football field instead of helping families. It's all very well saying it's a police matter but it looks like they have no powers either. The only people with any authority to enforce bylaws are the people who made them and that's why I refer to the council.

More excuses and now the local councillor thinks a football pitch renovation will solve the problem, I give up , I am joining the rest of the decent families and moving out, let them have the street and destroy it. Good riddance.
