Trees growing much too large and overhanging gardens

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 12:30, Wed 11 March 2009
Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council 5 minutes later

The trees on both Bostock Road and St Michaels Avenue are long overdue a significant cut back. These are over-sized for the streets, limiting light into houses and in St Michaels Avenue in particular, overgrowing gardens. This was reported to the Council by multiple residents of Bostock Road during 2008. For reference, the trees were cut very well on Conduit Road and Park Road in recent years and the same is required for these two roads.

The council replied but state that they will not review the trees on Bostock Road. For St Michael's Avenue, they have suggested contacting VoWH or Abingdon Council as the County Council is not responsible.
