Top End sign

It looks like either an attempt has been made to lever the Top End sign off or a vehicle has hit it(unlikely). Either way the metal sign has been bent and is sticking out from the timber surround towards the road.I have telephoned the council on this matter before (October 2008)and so have a couple of other people, so I am told but so far nothing has been done.
