Sent to Leeds City Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 467950.
A utility company has dug a trench across road on approach to Tingley roundabout. It has been filled with Tarmac but they must have put too much in ! It's like hitting a speed bump without warning.

Martin from Leeds City Council Highways sent an Email saying he had inspected this hump of Tarmac across the Road and he is Happy this has been done to his Satisfaction ! They put more Tarmac in to allow it to sink with Traffic running over it ????? I've never seen anything like it before and what about people's cars running over it. This is also duel carriageway and the trench is across both lanes, but only one lane has been repaired like this. 4 weeks now and the traffic has not squashed the Tarmac Down and I don't think it ever will. Waste of time......... I will just Drive past it in Lane 2 ! If that workmanship is to satisfaction I make no wonder the Roads are as bad as they are. End of !

Hey Martin ! its half way through October now and Guess What ! The Tarmac has still not Squashed down after all this time and to be honest I don't think it will ???? this Road has a 7.5 ton weight limit on it and I personally don't think it will ever Squash down ! so can you put a Sign up and use it as a Speed Bump ? MOT Testing Stations must love the Highways Department !
