Building works

Sent to Leicestershire County Council and Blaby District Council 2 minutes later

I was walking down this path on the 25th Feb 2008 and Barratt Homes Builders were working machinary on it. There were no signs, the path was not closed, and we had to squeeze between a digger and a truck which were excavating the ground. This was a very dangerous situated and I felt concerned seeing the machinary was moving and only had a meter space to get through! Surely this violates health and safety laws, as well as access rights etc?

The council said that the area had not been 'adopted' yet, and was not their concern. They suggested contacting Barratt Builders direct. I am sure they would not follow up a complaint about themselves!!!!
