Major surface problems

Reported in the Potholes category by Paul Crawford at 10:01, Thu 26 February 2009
Sent to Bedfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

The length of road from the junction with Elstow road to the roundabout by the garage has a very poor surface. I ride a moped to work and the condition of the road makes this part of the commute very dangerous as i have to try and avoid the dips and troughs in the road. Please repair or resurface.

They cant be bothered as i am only a motorcyclist and the problem does not effect car users

As i said previously the council obviously dont care for motorbikes and cycles as still nothing has been done or even any reason why. I have to wonder what they are spending my council tax on (maybe new headed note paper)

After 20 weeks i can only guess this road will not be fixed . the council have however managed to slow the traffic down to a crawl so when i do go in the potholes i am travelling a lot slower, well done bedford borough council , job well done

Has it really been 26 weeks since i first reported it here. Maybe they are waiting for the rest of the road to wear down to the same level as the potholes. Absolute rubbish. Have now found a diferent route to work to avoid this road.

Why did i bother with this i may as well just wait for dust to build up in the holes and thus not need a repair.
