Vehicles obstructing pedestrians by parking on pavements

Since the re-opening of the Wayside Cafe in The Street we are experiencing vehicles parking on the foot paths in Gleneagles Wayby persons using the cafe.Also vehicles are obstructing pedestrian access in front of cafe again by parking on or in front of the public footpath to Witham.Finally these vehicles are also obstructing our view of the A12 slip road when turning out of Gleneagles Way.

The council failed to fix the problem as they failed to before. They are absolutely useless and will only act if the vehicle has no road tax.The fact that the parking is illegal and dangerous does not even enter the equation.The problem has been,I suspect,temporarily resolved by the residents involving the police who have been extremely helpful and supportive.
