Sent to Kent County Council and Canterbury City Council 1 minute later

There is a fir tree in the garden of number 1 that is very tall. It towers over the roofs of the houses. It hasn't been topped out out is still growing. In the recent high winds it was leaning dangerously, the roots are also breaking up the path at the back of the gardens.

This is in a Council House garden. Trees in Council House gardens are generally for the tenant to deal with. The Housing officer for the house may wish to have things checked out in which case they would ask RICHARD DAVIDSON to take a look.

We cannot get involved until a request comes from housing, until then it is a private matter.

KCC will be interested in any damaged to the path between 1 and 8 as it is adopted Highway, they may take action independently of anything the housing officer requests.
