Dog Fouling out of control.

Sent to Gateshead Borough Council 1 minute later

People are exercising LARGE dogs on this stretch of grass which has a public pathway running through it. Some of the dogs are very large and intimidating but the worst part is that Dogs are fouling and its being left by the owners. We have gates from the back of our houses and we are now constantly standing in the dog mess. There is no way I would allow my grandaughter to step outside the gate.

In the summer the smell gets worse. I have a dog of my own and pick up and deposit in council bins provided - which are brilliant. It takes seconds to do and supermarket own brand of nappy bags are very cheap. Unfortunately we now have to put up with other peoples dogs mess. Please can some signage go up or a council bin be provided along this pathway?

Nothing has happened - the fouling is still there. If they walk to the green gas mains shed they will see some of the fouling we have to put up with. There is no bin and the only sign re dog fouling which I discovered for the first time in years is at a height that only a giraffe could read - seriously its at approx 15feet high! The fouling is spreading to the paths in areas.
