Litter is not being cleared

This street, which gets a lot of footfall, is never cleared thoroughly of litter. Discarded packets, sometimes dog mess and always takeaway material lay there often for several days. Even when the cleaners come, theye never clear the street completely clear of litter. I have been told by Arun DC that Queen Street is scheduled for litter clearance twice a week. As a resident I know this is not happening consistently and the standard of clearance is not good enough.

Updates
I got an email from the contract officer saying the street will be swept three times a week. Visits are more frequent now, but the street is still badly littered.
The street is still constantly messy, in particular after the refuse collectors have visited. They do not bother to pick up anything that falls out of refuse bags as they are being loaded into the vehicle. Consequently the street looks especially bad after their visits. The overall reluctance to do a thorough job in my road is totally unprofessional. I have noticed the street cleaners in Arundel appear to take pride in doing a good job and there is no reason why this service should not be replicated in littlehampton.
