Persistant speeding traffic

Considering that there are two primary schools within a short distance from each other this road has no pedestrian crossing of any kind & not enough warning signs to remind drivers that they are driving through a primary school zone. Many drivers use Manor Park South & North & also Higher Downs as a short cut & have been dangerously speeding in excess of the 30mph speed limit. There is a dangerous bend before coming up to St. Vincents School & it is a only a matter of time before there is an accident. On numerous occassions I have found this road difficult & dangerous to cross with a young child. I dread to think what could happen to an unaccompanied child crossing this road in bad visibility with a speeding motorist. Please could someone from the council or highways re-evaluate the traffic situation in this area. Even if there were temporary warning lights during the start or end of school to remind motorists, or a safe crossing for children & parents to cross. Even a road safety campaign with police or volunteers taking speeds would at least make some motorists take note.
