Grit box required

In the bad weather (and especially with the snow and ice we have recently experienced) the road and pavements on Ormerod Close become treacherous for pedestrians and drivers. A grit box used to be positioned opposite 13 Ormerod Close, but it was removed some time ago. The area has becoming increasingly dangerous underfoot and for drivers to drive up the hill. PLEASE can a grit box be put back on Ormerod Close so the residents can administer grit when necessary. Thank you.

I did receive a call from the council to say a grit bin had been put on order but probably would not arrive in time for the bad weather which was forecast a week or so ago. I'm still waiting to see if the bin materialises!
