Road surface very poor

On Wood Lane, there are lots of potholes. The council workmen tend to replace the top surface/tarmac every year but the potholes just reappear. They are really big now and have created tracking problems on my car when I've accidentally driven through them. The whole road of Wood Lane needs to be addressed - properly surfaced to address this problem. The workmen come out to fix small potholes now and again but they just keep re-appearing.

Now, with the recent bad weather, the potholes are really bad. With ice on the roads, the cracks have got worse and there are big potholes...it's pretty bad and I wish the council would sort it out properly.
Road surface has been patched again but already potholes are beginning to surface again! Give it a month or two and it'll just force them to patch it up again...ridiculous!
