Vehicles regularly obstructing footpath

Pedestrians have to walk in road which is narrow at this point. Route is well used by local school children.

It is disappointing that Calderdale Council say "Obstruction is purely a police matter and we do not have any powers to deal with such instances"

I thought "safe routes to schools" was a Council priority. It's sad that children have to walk out into the road because the Council can;t do anything to stop cars blocking the footpath.
