I am a car driver and motorcyclist, i travel on the A37 from Bristol to Farrington gurney daily using these two modes of transport for the last 7 years I have never seen so many accidents in one spot since the new red surface and white lines was introduced on the duel lane carriageway just outside Pensford on clutton hill, this is the big hill just before clutton, it is extremly dangerous as it has cut the carriageway down to one lane half way up to the the top corner with markings, this makes the apex very tight, even when driving at low speeds in a car and the red shell grip and heavly painted white lines make it dangerous for motorcyclists due to the bumpy surface and gravel left, also this road was not cleaned after the construction of this so called saftey feature and they just allowed the cars, lorries and rain to move the excess gravel. there is now almost an accident weekly if not daily on this stretch of road, check the police stats and reports for this area. This is shocking as when an accident happened before it was only now and then. They should of brought the corner out rather than make it sharper. I hope this emal gets to the right persons as it will save lives.
