The co-op at the top of Spring hill causes the most littering that I have ever experienced. The waste they store at the rear frequently spreads down the hill makes the place look as if we don't care. We also have problems with litter louts walking home down the Hill having bought items at the Co-op and just flinging the wrappers down as they wander back to the Council maisonettes. (I wouldn't dare challenge them, as I've heard their discussions about methodone) I now loathe living here and would move - if only I could. I am imprisoned here with the dregs who live nearby. I have no idea what can be done apart from persuade Co-op to move the store to the edge of the village. It's a good store but a thorough nuisance to us on Spring Hill.
