Idiotic car parking situation

Spring Hill residents struggle to park near their homes because Co-op customers need to drive a few hundred yards to shop. We frequently struggle to park near enough and when we have heavy items to offload, we have to block the street for a short time. I have written to the Council twice this year about the situation and to try to obtain Residents Only parking status, but NOTHING has been done and I have not received a reply, only an acknowledgment of my email. We also suffer from inadequate lighting and often are in danger from Co-op customers in their hurry to drive away. Pedestrians are virtually invisible at night. It is no use sending someone to inspect lighting during the day. Come and stand by the 'car park' at night and it is scary.
