Appalling Road Surface

The stretch of Sandbach Road at its junction with Quinta Road, Congleton, is in a very poor state of repair. I reported this to Highways 2 years ago who stated they were aware of the problem and it was top of their county-wide list for repairs, but there has still been no action. The road surface is rough & uneven after numerous excavations by utility companies over the years and due to the amount of trafic from M6 J17 heading up towards Manchester, and as a resident my house shakes when 36-tonne artics pass at (or generally over) the 40mph limit. In addition the footpath slopes into the road, causing a hazard for mothers taking children to the 2 local schools and residents of the 3 local nursing homes in their wheelchairs, at serious risk of rolling into the road due to the adverse camber. Please contact me to discuss in more detail - apart from the noise and damage to passing vehicles by the poor state of the surface I fear there will be a serious accident or fatality soon due to the degredation of the footpaths and the speeding cars. Photos can be provided if necessary.
