Potholes in Stakenbridge, Churchill
Reported by iPhone in the Roads/highways category by Jill Hall at 19:11, Sat 3 January 2009
Sent to Worcestershire County Council 4 minutes later
The large, deep potholes that have plagued the road for the last 12 months have reappeared. They are all along a "seam" in the tarmac about 30cm from the kerb which is a danger both to cyclists and pedestrians. Lumps of flying debris from cars driving through the potholes are likely to cause damage to parked cars & buildings.

Updates
The holes have been marked up for repair but as yet nothing has been done about them. They are now even deeper and more dangerous. They present a hazard and a nuisance. Water from the holes dirties our windows and painted brick and stones and other debris is being thrown up by cars and we believe a stone from the pothole is responsible for breaking the front headlight of one of our cars. We have reported the problem again by telephone direct to the Council on 2 occasions since our original posting here.
Holes had to have a temporary, emergency fix on 12 February after a van was damaged by them. This has temporarily resolved the problem. However, the area is already starting to break down again and has probably only lasted until now because weather has, until today, been dry.
