Sent to Chorley Borough Council and Lancashire County Council 3 minutes later

There is a large hole which has been dug right next to Chorley Community Housing garages. This large hole has been left unattended for over 12 months, without being cordoned off in any way. It is very dangerous as it is also next to a public pavement used by people from the nearby pensioner's bungalows, and local children.

It appears that the land is privately owned so the authorities don't care. You can dig a gaping chasm, and as long as the council aren't liable when someone falls into it, they aren't bothered.
