New Parking Restrictions from 281 Yardley Green Road to Waverley School Yardley Green Road

New parking restrictions have been put in at Yardley Green Road, there has been boxes painted on the road and sign posts put up stating 2 hour parking only. I have reported that cars are parked there all day and that cars are parking out of the box and partial blocking the drive which leads to 33 flats causing problems when drivers are trying to entry Yardley Green Road from the flats. I have contacted BCC parking office but they seem not at all interested. They have stated to me that they might check the parking once a fortnight, and that even though the cars are parking out side the box they can't do anything about the problem. So why wast money on road markings and poles with parking advice on if the powers to be are ignoring the continues sorry state of parking in Yardley Green Road B9 5QA

  • The Council has covered the parking signs over so drivers can park as long and anywhere they want. This has not helped the local residents, It is a poor decision by the council with total disregard for the locals.
